I’ve recently discovered Dan Lacey, and I’m seriously considering buying some of his work.
Lacey takes iconic figures and paints them, sometimes with pancakes on their head(s).
Here’s his portrait of Obama, celebrating his victory over basic economic theory.
Follow the jump to see an even better example of Lacey’s work.
I think I need to buy this piece.
To see some more of Lacey’s work, visit his eBay store if you get the chance. Finally someone has combined politics and pancakes. Another favorite is his portrait of Jeremiah Wright with a BLT pancake on his head. I don’t get it, but I like it.
