McCain - Palin supporters in my hometown… who think Barack Obama is a terrorist because of his “bloodline” and his name. Really? A terrorist? Even if I don’t support McCain/Palin, at least I know there are intelligent, reasonable people out there who do (thank you buriedplanet!). These people scare me. I wonder what they’d think of me if I ran for public office, having a Taiwanese birth certificate and a Taiwanese name.
Really? Does the McCain campaign really need to so this? The latest web-ad takes 2 statements out of context from 2 different people and spins it around Palin. I expect more from McCain.
Obama was referring to economic policy, not Sarah Palin.
Katie Couric was referring to Hillary Clinton, not Sarah Palin.
Can’t we just vote now and get this over with?

This year’s summer movie season is going to be incredibly fun for me, as there are quite a few films I’m excited to see… Iron Man being near the top of my list. Penn & Teller are pretty durn good illusionists/comedians, and I’ve always enjoyed their show on Showtime called Bulls***! Here they’re in Egypt doing the age-old cups and balls trick, but with their usual trademark flair… AND they even show you how it’s done! For me, it’s even more impressive when they do it the second time. Enjoy!

80’s television brings me nostalgia both good and bad (Transformers on one hand, the original Battlestar Galactica on the other), but I never thought NBC would resurrect good ol’ Knight Rider again after Knight Rider 2000, Team Knight Rider, and Knight Rider 2010 (I know, I don’t want to remember any of those either). It’s all here, including the news that KITT will be a Ford Mustang GT500KR… with multiple configurations (see the pic for ‘Attack Mode’ KITT)… and yes, David Hasselhoff will at least have a cameo. Will Arnett (Job of Arrested Development) is the voice.
A part of me is curious to see how 2 decades of progress both technologically and culturally will affect this reincarnation… and another part of me is just worried that NBC is just ruining yet another old TV show.
