It feels to me, Sam, like the Obamatons are always playing the 'Inevitability Card'. I hope it's all talk - but consider that if St. Barack fails (!) to ram his healthcare agenda down Americans' collective throats, then he'll have dashed himself against some very big rocks. So I think they're going to fight tooth and nail.
Throwing around the word 'inevitable' is designed to make your enemies lay down and die (Republicans are good at this, I think we can both agree on that) and makes Obama seem all the more prophetic.
I say we fight it as hard as we can no matter what the Democrats say.
