Greatest. Capcom. Character. Ever.

Apparently Capcom makes a game called 'Ace Lawyer' in which you get to play the role of Phoenix Wright, a defense lawyer who doesn't play by the rules. Right now I'm on a Phoenix Wright kick. Not since Amateur Surgeon has there been such a great concept for a video game.

And Phoenix's moves are cool -- he throws paperwork, instructs his unpaid intern to bum rush you (right there at around the 30 second mark), causes a gigantic judge's gavel to crash down on you, and declares (pointing his finger): "OBJECTION!" Finally, he slaps his hands against a table, and Dr. Doom cannot withstand the flurry of fuzzy logic and capitulates. Really.

Someone should make a version featuring Al Sharpton called 'Racial Arsonist' and his supermove can be declaring "THAT'S RACIST!' and leading marches at opponents. I'd buy it.

Here's hoping that Phoenix Wright makes another crossover -- to the Mortal Kombat universe, so that he may battle a new character named 'Congressman Barney Frank', allowing for a new 'fatality' supermove involving intestines and the grisly deaths of both characters.

You either know the joke or you don't.
